DeMar DeRozan's All-Star Book Program

We have been invited to be a part of this amazing program! DeMar DeRozan and First Book Canada have given us each 10 brand-new books. We get to keep the books! We also get a CHANCE to win a class-set of tickets to see the Raptors AND a CHANCE to meet DeMar! 

In order to qualify, EACH student must read the book (a new book each week) AND write a book report.

Book Report Requirements

*Include: School Name, Teacher's Name, Week Number, Title of Book, Student's Name, Date

*1 page long (could be front and back) with a MINIMUM of 250 words

*Content: 
 -about specific and/or general part of the book
-what you liked/did not like about the experience of reading 
-make a connection (text-to-self, text-to-world)
-include your inferences (what the author is really writing about...)
-support your opinions with details and examples from the book

*Be Creative! 

*Due at the end of each week, book reports must be mailed to First Book Canada to be marked and judged. 

*Points will be taken away for: 
-missing submissions from students
-late submissions
