Car Use (Conservation of Energy)

What are the problems associated with cars as a form of transportation in Toronto?  How does car and truck use improve or negatively impact the lifestyles of people in Toronto?  How can the City of Toronto control or limit car use and ensure people can get around?

In groups of 2 or 3 and using a poster format (no larger than 18” X 24”/Bristol board size) explain how cars and trucks impact city growth and liveability using words, diagrams, graphics and/or models.  Make suggestions that will promote and improve transportation systems in Toronto and what impact decreased car use will have on the city.

What are the problems associated with bicycles as a form of transportation in Toronto?  How will increased bicycle use improve the lifestyles of people in Toronto?  How can the City of Toronto promote increased bicycle use and ensure rider safety?  How do bicycles work – look at gears.

In groups of 2 or 3 and using a poster format (no larger than 18” X 24”/Bristol board size) explain how bicycles work using words, diagrams, graphics and/or models.  Make suggestions that will promote and improve bicycle access and use in Toronto and what impact increased bicycle use will have on the city.
